Diversity of ADR Decision-Makers an Important Issue

In the global marketplace, disputes are arising between parties having ever-increasing levels of diversity of interests and perspectives. And having a panel of skilled Neutrals capable of assisting in the resolution of such disputes has become more and more important. So what is a leading provider of dispute resolution services like the National Arbitration Forum doing about it? The FORUM promotes diversity amongst arbitrators and mediators in several ways:
Next month, the annual National Arbitration Forum Fall Arbitrator Conference will take place. Arbitrators and mediators on the National Arbitration Forum panel will meet to discuss issues relevant to alternative dispute resolution (ADR). This year, the FORUM has organized a first of its kind event to precede the conference. "Promoting Diversity in ADR" is designed to provide opportunities for women and minorities who are interested in becoming ADR professionals. If you are interested, or know of someone who might be interested in attending this event, feel free to provide them with more details.
